  When I lost my job and had 0 income I applied for Food Stamps and Heap--The caseworker repeatedly said I did not qualify and I had a 5 yr old son to feed and take care of. The caseworker repeatedly hung up on me and then called the Sheriffs Dept to threaten me that I will be arrested. When I tried to contact a Supervisor and then went up the Chain of Command to Comissioner, I kept being referred and transferred to same caseworker who refused to help me. I knew nothing of Food Pantries. It was Feb and i NEEDED Heap to help me. I could not get into any Homeless Shelters for heat since I had a home with little heat and no food. A worker who was sent to my home and looked into my fridge refused to help me and contacted CPS and lied seriously and never corrected her intentional lie. I never even spanked my son or hurt him in any way/ I had no food but my mom was feeding us day by day at her house and they took my child from a sound sleep and I fought for 12 years to get him back because of food and heat which Soc Service refused to help me with. I was exhausted from the Games Social Service plays.
  
  In addition there were times when I went to HEAP and could not stand long so I pulled a chair in line and the SHERIFFS threatened to arrest me when a worker called and I showed them a dr letter and Sheriff threw it in my face. This happened 3x and Heap continues to harass me as soon as they see me despite a written complaint I delivered.
  
  In addition caseworkers continue to contradict what asset levels are when you say get an inheritance. One says you can keep it and another says you cant keep it and that they no longer look at resources. When I ask for it to be put in writing so there are no problems---they refuse and expect me to just believe them when I have gotten in trouble for believing the caseworkers and refuse to put what they quote in writing.
  
  I am disabled and when I worked I immediately told Medicaid filled out application for Medicaid Buy In Program for people on SSD and returning back to work. They never put me in program and took entire check with not even a dollar of it that i COULD KEEP. Medicaid also had me reimburse them $1200.00 which was a mistake on Medicaid and Medicaid worker refused to give me contact information for SIU to ask for reimbursement of this $1200.00 When I finally got number and address, no one is returning my calls but is quick to demand the $1200 from me. Why are the workers so rude, quick to call Sheriffs when you ask a question they refuse to answer and you are being polite and then they call Sheriff to have you arrested because they refuse to answer your question such as why you do not qualify for Food stamps when you have no income? Where is accountability of Workers for Gross mistakes? I heard you cannot sue Social Services ever? Me and My son lives have been destroyed due to Children,s Services and they refuse to even speak to me and the secretary hangs up on me as soon as she answers and she knows i want an appointment with a Supervisor in Children,s services for Gross Neglect in my sons case and refusal to reply to my letters and blocking my calls,and blocking me when I show up in person. Please respond.
