  With such a nice location on the Small Boat Harbor, I hoped that Charlie's would've been better than a neighborhood bar. While the patio is great, the inside of the restaurant is cramped and not air conditioned. It can be quite uncomfortable if the breeze is especially strong, or if there is none at all. The menu is extremely bland and limited, and some options are overpriced. The food took awhile to come out, and was not really worth the wait. The portions were small, and the quality was less than what could be done at home. None of the food we ordered tasted bad, but it wouldn't be worth it to have again. It was just unremarkable, which I don't want when going out. However, I can't be critical about the patio. It would certainly be worth returning for a drink and enjoying the view, if nothing else.
