  I was in the process of purchasing a house and the seller's real estate agent was Margaret Kandefer. This property did not appraise good due to it being listed as a 7 bedroom house in a rural area- at no fault of my credit or anything to do with being qualified for a mortgage. When we were unable to buy the house, Margaret would not return my real estate agent's emails/phone calls attempting to collect $1400.00 worth of fees owed to me. When I called Realty Edge to find out what was going on, Connie Gerbish (the owner) told me that I would have to go through a lawyer, that my deposit was "irrelevant" and that my real estate agent was an "idiot". She then hung up on me. When I called her back she refused to give me the location or business hours of her place of business. I understand that $400.00 of the fees would have to be settled through an attorney, however, the $1,000 deposit would not. She was snide, rude and arrogant. I don't know what kind of business owner hangs up on someone that they owe $1400.00 to. On top of all this nonsense, I found out that the seller's real estate agent has been leading the seller to believe that I backed out of the deal due to my own disqualification with the lender. I have been preapproved for $170,000- this house was $90,000. I am disgusted with the arrogance and lack of professionalism with this business. I am currently an E5 Active Duty OEF VET.
