  This place is a scam. I ended up stranded at the airport with no vehicle. You have to call for a shuttle to come pick you up and take you to the rental office. Well no one picked up the phone, no one even got back to me after waiting. Called the main office and they couldn't even get ahold of the Buffalo location. Avoid this place at all cost.

  Buffalo Airport Car Rental at the Quality Inn on Genesee St. also under Ace Rental and Fox Rental are not to be trusted. I had a reservation for 12/22/17 to pick up my car after 5pm in the dark the day before the major ice/snow event on 12/23/17. I never dreamed they would give me a rental with bald tires, but in the light of day I found we were "sliding" around on bald tires right into a snow bank and had to be pushed out. I grew up in Michigan so I know how to drive on ice and snow. I was able to take the car back on Sunday 12/24/17 which I filled up the tank to full even though I got it @ 3/4 a tank. It took looking at 4 cars before we found a car that had decent tread. The attendants were apologetic and said they had told Management about the bald tire problem repeatedly. When we returned our car on 12/27/17, the attendant verified we had filled the tank to full and the car had no dings and was clean inside as I had gotten it, but had trouble printing my final receipt and said they would email it to me. Then they agreed to make a copy of my signed bill, but in my hurry to grab the bus to get my plane, I didnt realize they had switched receipts and gave me someone elses. I got the email confirming of the right invoice amount for my credit card. However I found my credit card was charged $83 more. When I called, the manager he didnt have time to talk to me, but Joe Adamo sent me an email saying the "deposit" would drop off my charge in 3-5 days so I would be charged the agreed to invoice amount. I wrote and then called back that it had been 12 business days. I finally got Joe on the phone and he claimed my credit card company made the mistake. That a hold authorization had been requested with a $200 deposit that was to be dropped when the car was returned. My Mastercard has no record of the hold authorization or invoiced amount, only this incorrect amount. Joe claimed Mastercard made the mistake in the amount, but Mastercard assured me they cant change the amount a service provider charges, only the service provider. Joe also said he had not heard about any bald tire complaints or that they had this problem which contrdicts his own attendants.
  I have filed a dispute with Mastercard and they are starting an ivestigation. By other re iews on this site, it looks like I am not alone in problems with this Rental Car operation!
